Summer Drop-in

We are excited to offer complimentary drop-in activities for members & their families. Summer programs run Monday, June 28th through August 27th.

How it Works:

  1. Each Wednesday at 10am, we will open a sign-up for a NEW activity.
  2. To service as many members as possible, some activities have restrictions on the number of sessions you may register for each week.
  3. Reservations can be made online - spaces for each activity are limited.
  • Details on Health and Safety Protocols

    Daily Health Screening

All children, staff, and caregivers must self-screen at home daily. Self-screening shall include fever (temperature of 100.0ºF or above is considered a fever), cough, shortness of breath, gastrointestinal symptoms, new loss taste/smell, muscle aches, or any other symptoms that may feel like a cold. If you feel sick, please stay home.

    Covid-19 Quarantine and Isolation

We continue to follow state and local health guidelines pertaining to COVID-19 positive cases.

In the event that a program participant tests positive for COVOD-19 or is identified as a close contact, they must isolate or quarantine until they have met the requirements for discontinuing isolation or quarantine.

Vaccinated individuals who are exposed to COVID-19 do not need to quarantine.

For information on isolation and quarantine please visit:   COVID-19 isolation and quarantine information | Mass.gov

    Building Updates

The Club has installed new signage, new touchless drinking fountains, and new hand sanitizer stations. The Club also has hand held hand sanitizers with at least 60% alcohol available for use. Please email lduddy@abgclub.org if you do NOT want your child to use hand sanitizer. If you do not email prior to the start of your class, the Arlington Boys & Girls Club assumes that you have granted permission.

    Masks

Face masks or cloth face coverings are required when participating in Arlington Boys & Girls Club activities indoors. Staff will wear face coverings indoors, except when in the water teaching swim lessons. Swim lesson participants will also be instructed when to remove their mask prior to the start of class.

    Caregiver

If necessary, one caregiver may accompany the child into building for programming. There are designated seats in the pool and gym for caregivers spaced six feet apart. At this time siblings who are not registered for the class are not permitted in the building. This includes infants. Please plan accordingly when registering.
